David Wynne has been great to work with. Building me up slowly, surely and always in the right direction. Even when I've had major setbacks he has still been very positive and got me back on track again. All this has been done with the restrictions of only being able to use a video link. I believe I am now on my way to a full recovery where I once thought thay only surgery would be the answer. David Wynne is simply the best physiotherapistwith whom I have ever worked . He has deep knowledge, superb expertise and, with his warmth and patience, is a natural teacher and healer. I received great treatment for a sciatic nerve problem that didn’t seem to want to go away. David was clear in communicating what to do, and despite being able to do only 2 sessions in person. Due to coronavirus the remaining sessions were video sessions, but were equally as effective! A very male-dominated environment as far as the therapists are concerned and it would be more balanced with at least one female therapist, rather than just the two female receptionists. Strangely old-fashioned atmosphere I think because of this - like stepping back into a typing pool in the 1960s. I did not appreciate my therapist greeting me with a coffee and glass of water - for him. Not a professional or engaging start. Nothing wrong with his skills but altogether a peculiarly off-putting experience of the practice as a whole. – Most importantly, do you have any constructive feedback or rave reviews for us?

Hi Linda,

Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback. Historically we’ve been a majority female practice, but I agree that it would be great to have another female physio and we’re currently looking for one to cover a maternity leave position. In relation to our reception team we actually have a mixed male and female reception team, so you must have been with us on a day when our male receptionist wasn’t there. Rest assured we are a diverse bunch! I’m also sorry that you weren’t offered a drink. We try to make a point of offering all of our patients a drink when they arrive, so will redouble our efforts on that front.

To your point on us having a bit of a 1960’s feel. We’ve tried to create an atmosphere where patients feel comfortable, listened to, and not rushed. That’s not often seen in modern day healthcare. I guess some feel that’s old fashioned, but we think it’s how healthcare should be. We’re a progressive clinic with a world class team of clinicians and the most caring of reception teams. We aim to provide the best care, in a great environment. So I sincerely apologise that we didn't achieve that for you.

Liam went straight to tackling my issue from the 1st appointment and my recovery has moved on much quicker than anticipated. My recommendation would be to place the signage closer to the street so that it is easier to view when walking past.
